Teacher Berates Child Who Supported McCain

This is the kind of stuff that just ticks me off. Telling a girl that her military dad who is also a McCain supporter that he will be in Iraq another 100 years. First off people don't live to be 100 years and remain in the military. Next, if her parents voted for McCain she can support them too. She reworded one child's reason for voting for obama even though that wasn't what the child said. Then she let one child's reason pass even though he said he supported obama because he was black. What an opportunity to talk about finding all of the issues out rather than support by race or support due to parents. Never mind that Barak kills babies with his freedom of choice act promise.

And why didn't our main stream media pick this up? Schools should be talking math/reading/critical thinking skills (which this teacher didn't demonstrate) and English. If you talk polisci or current events you need to be a little less biased!!

Wow! That lady knows how to ruffle my feathers! That poor girl! She looked so uncomfortable. I hope she had a large number of people (parents, etc) congratulate her for speaking up in an obviously hostile environment. Good for her. Shame on the teacher.

I am appalled. That is insane. What are people coming to these days?

She missed a great teaching moment..i would hope she could respect people who have different views than her own..that would have been something great to teach..my husband and i normally go to the polls and cancel each other out and we get along :)

This is just plain IGNORANCE!!!!! And why is it tolerated, by the media???? Because they suck!!! (I am sorry for that, it just really irritates the heck out of me)
