These are a few of the crafts we did at our Chinese New Year. No, G didn't wear her Chinese silks because she and I wore matching pink shirts.

There were several dances performed and although G was rivited she doesn't want to learn the dances herself. She doesn't want to wear the dresses some of the dancers wore.

what beautiful pictures my friend!!!
So precious. :)
Great craft G!
We are going to a CNY party Monday. It is just with a few families from the area. I am so excited. Your pictures made me really excited about it. I love these get togethers. Maylin sometimes won't wear or do things that are Chinese. When people speak Chinese to her she turns her head away and holds up her hand. Not sure why. Your baby girl is getting very big.
Very cute! We're having our CNY celebration this weekend.

Very cool! We're going to our CNY next Saturday. Don't know why it's so late but that's the free family day. ha. Can't wait..it's our first!
Lovin the craft Glenys - it's so cute. Our CNY party with FCC isn't until Feb. 7 - BUT we will be celebrating at the Chinese Community Center on the 31st.
Very cute pics, we are going to our New Years celebration on Sunday, the monkeys are not too happy they will be wearing a dress, LOL(that's if I can catch them, they will balking at this request!!)
What fun....I could never drag Lottie to any of that...she won't have anything to do with China yet and I packed away her silk clothes because she doesn't like them...they are itchy and she is from Texas she says! LOL
I love that you wore matching tops!
You gotta love a girl who knows exactly what she wants and doesn't want!!! She might not want to dance, but she sure can make pretty crafts!!
Love,Kristy
