"At least one African-American pro-life leader is upset that Hillary Clinton has received Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger award.
"Pastor Johnny Hunter of L.E.A.R.N. says Margaret Sanger, who founded Planned Parenthood, was a racist who wanted minority races eliminated. He is not surprised that Secretary of State Clinton was honored by the taxpayer-funded abortion provider.
"'The best part of it is black folks are waking up. They've seen the racist side of Hillary. They've seen the racist side of Margaret Sanger,' he notes. 'And as people begin to figure out how bad Planned Parenthood is, I guarantee you, once again blacks are going to come out against the organization like it should be.'
"Hunter recognizes that one of the first people honored with the award was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 'If you look at when Bill Clinton was in the White House, they loved taking pictures with black folks, like they were our friends, and Margaret Sanger did the same thing by giving King the humanitarian award,' he contends. Since that time, many African-American leaders have become pro-life and are fighting against Planned Parenthood.
"'I tell you, Alveda King -- Martin Luther King's niece -- said it best. She said, "if [Sanger] had told my uncle that what I want you to do is make sure to kill as many little black, colored babies as you've got, he never would have even accepted the award," Hunter adds. 'He had no clue of what he was dealing with.'
"Dr. King received the award in 1966, the first year in which it was awarded."
