Jokes on Us!

"Saturday was Earth Day, when upstanding citizens were instructed to turn off all electronic appliances for one hour starting at 8:30 p.m. Some conservatives mocked the directive, turning on lights and appliances in defiance, but it turns out that a key lib did as well. Al Gore, mansion-dwelling denizen, decked out his driveway in floodlights and had a number of televisions running right in the middle of the hour, despite being a leading proponent of Earthly objectives. President of the Tennessee Center For Policy Research Drew Johnson wrote that the floodlights highlighted Gore's gaudy trees and that most of the windows were lit by the familiar blue-ish hue indicating that floor lamps and ceiling fixtures were off, but TV screens and computer monitors were hard at work. Sounds like the kind of hard work Gore usually exerts when it comes time for him to follow his own directives on the environment."

Interesting isn't it? The Pope of Green won't adhere to his own directives. The problem with the whole green movement and climate change or global warming other than its falseness is that there will become a greater divide of haves and have nots. You see people like Al Gore can make a huge monetary donation to offset carbon output in order to keep his lights ablaze when we the poor won't be able to do so. We won't be able to heat our homes because of the evil carbon footprints; never mind that carbon is not the culprit.

Guess what? We live in a divinely created universe that will self correct in climate, carbon, oxygen etc. I know we, the human race, haven't actually always taken care of our earth, but that can change just not the way the far green left want. And there is not enough evidence to claim carbon is actually harming the earth. There are a lot of scientists who do not agree with the whole global warming/climate changing human manipulation cult. It is just not good science to base real live- life affecting- policies based on a "might could happen" model.

There was one catastrophic event in our world history due to man's failure (sins) and that was the flood from which Noah, his wife and children were spared because of God's grace and mercy. There will be another judgment to come and only the ark of Jesus' sacrifice will save us. Jump on that ark to live in His kingdom now and His kingdom to come.
