Need Some Ideas for Summer Activities?

MEGA Brands has some great indoor activities for your kids this summer. See this Smart Easel? G would love it. A place to hold all of her art equipment and give her room to draw or paint instead of the coffee table with the child's table extension area she has now. Can you see, there is a place for crayons or "crowns" as G calls them, markers, a drawer for other stuffs and a tray to place the in use crayons. The paper roll looks easy to maneuver too. It even folds up nicely into its own carrier.

These are the features this Smart Easel has direct from the website:
"1 easel
Dry erase board for regular size paper roll
Easy clean art tray
Washable fabric
Sturdy metal frame
Velcro components for easy organization
Patented easy fold mechanism
8 broadline washable markers
1 - 50ft roll of paper
1 deluxe bag for portability and storage".

MEGA Brands has a lot of other creative options to choose from too, like Mega puzzles from under 50 pieces to over 150 and Mega blocks for lots of building projects. Summer is around the corner which could mean kids at home from school telling you how bored they are. Since everyone is very money conscious now, the running and gunning of summers past are put on the back burner. There is also a need to keep your kids' brains from atrophying and keep them busy and entertained without letting them know that is your goal, heh. What better than to have on hand some toys with learning benefits to fill their time.

G could fill up a house with art projects because she loves to draw, mostly family members, and paint. Roseart brand is a great name brand from MEGA Brands and is a new favorite of mine. Of course now that G loves her room and this Smart Easel can be set up anywhere, unlike her current set up, she could paint for hours in the quiet of her room with only the cats bothering her. She and I could even set up this Smart Easel outside with my easel and paint what we see. She would love that until her 5 year old spirit took over and she was distracted by a butterfly or something, heh. Too bad her birthday is over and Christmas is still a long way away.

That is totally cool! If mia were older that would be great for her as she loves to draw and do art type things. Fun!!
