Prayers Needed

Ms. C, G's kindergarten teacher, has a tumor that is suspected to be lymphoma but the doctor won't know until Tuesday for sure. She has a hard mass (rapidly growing) in her side pushing on all of her organs (liver, kidneys etc.) causing her to lose weight (she can't afford) and basically trying to take over her insides. The doctor is very positive that chemo and radiation will knock it out. It is inoperable maybe due to where it is as well as the size of it but he is almost certain that it will be wiped out with chemo/radiation.

Anyway, she has two children (grown, youngest in her late 20s) but no grandchildren yet. This was probably going to be her last year anyway but now this sort of forces it. Her husband is also a teacher and will be retiring with her I believe at the end of the year. She has 90 days of sick so job-wise she should be fine.

She is scared and uncertain about what all this means. The kindergartners will def. be effected by this having a sub and all. It will be a permanent sub for sure but still very difficult for learning. Ms. C is a very sweet teacher that is extremely patient!! I am very glad G has her this year. So please pray for a miracle for Ms. C. Barring a miracle, pray for wisdom for the doctor and treatment team, pray for the peace that passes all understanding, pray for the sub that will come into the room, pray for the adjustment of the kids, pray for Ms. C's family to support her.

Praying for Ms. C and for G. My daughter had a wonderful 1st grade reading teacher who was forced to retire midyear because of a recurrence of breast cancer; five years later she is still enjoying her retirement.
