Good Friday with Good Friends

G is currently having a play date with a little girl from her school. This is the same little girl with whom we went to the zoo over spring break. These pics are NOT from the play date. These pics are from the jumper yesterday. We are having said play date at my parents because they have lots and lots of room no sick cats and lots of fun things to do like fly kites and dig for worms, which the little girl thinks she is taking home to her mom, heh.

G is spending the night with my parents so I have to take the little girl home in about 15 mins. They have played SO WELL together, no fighting, lots of sharing and just great friendship.

Today is the day of the dark reminder of Jesus death. Of course, we know the end of the story that begins on Sunday with His coming out of the tomb signifying the end of death and sin. He conquered death for us and all we have to do is accept the gift He offers, eternal life with Him.

Reflect on this Good Friday what the salvation of the Lord means. Thankfully, He didn't stay in tomb, He came out again on the first day of the week for us.
