70 Years After D-Day

If you haven't heard or don't realize, this is the 70th anniversary of D-day.  Great things going on in the world on the internet.  Twitter has an account currently "live" tweeting D-Day.  Fascinating to read as if it were happening now.

The whole interpretive dance thing was just scary!  WHY???

James Delingpole has a wonderful article about the day and the heroes of the day here.  The Atlantic has a great article about 3 pages long and this link picks up on the 3rd page.

Our most classy president showed himself as the least classy of the day.

Here is the radio coverage of the day. Another great spot about photos to see.

I am thankful for the men and women who played a part in that day for it truly was the beginning of the end for the NAZIS and beginning of liberation for millions of Jews and other people from concentration camps.
